BOLTED DOWN, STAKED IN, AND HEAVY

Backyard play equipment is built to survive a decade of kids and North Texas weather, which is exactly what makes it hard to remove. Wooden playsets are through-bolted timber. Trampolines are a steel ring under real tension. Basketball goals are often set in concrete.

We take them apart properly instead of dragging them across the yard. Springs get collected, anchors and ground stakes come out, and the footprint gets walked afterward so nothing sharp stays behind where kids or pets go.

Nothing gets dragged and nothing gets left in the grass. The pieces we're most careful about are the small ones — springs, bolts, and stakes are what end up in a lawn mower or a bare foot.

Same as everything else in the back yard: access determines how much has to be cut versus carried whole.

Disassembled in place
Bolts backed out, panels separated, trampoline frames de-tensioned safely before anything comes apart.

Anchors and stakes pulled
Ground anchors come out. Concrete-set basketball posts get cut below grade or dug out, depending on what you want.

Footprint walked and cleared
We sweep the area for springs, bolts, and hardware before we leave. Kids and pets use that grass.
Where it goes

STEEL FRAMES, TIMBER, AND MATS

Play equipment is mostly steel and lumber, both of which recycle well. The synthetic parts — mats, nets, and slides — are the part that usually can't.

Reuse when it's safe
Structurally sound wooden playsets in good condition can sometimes be rehomed rather than scrapped.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Do you take trampolines apart, or haul them whole?+
Apart. A trampoline frame is under tension and shouldn't be moved assembled. We release it safely, collect every spring, and load the frame in sections.
Can you remove a basketball goal set in concrete?+
Yes. Depending on what you want, we either dig out the footing entirely or cut the post below grade and backfill so nothing shows. Tell us which when you book.
Will you remove a wooden playset?+
Regularly. Through-bolted timber sets come apart with impact drivers and saws, and the lumber gets recycled or rehomed if it's sound.
Do you take above-ground pools?+
Yes — drained, cut down, and hauled with the liner, frame, ladder, and pump. Let us know if it's still full so we bring a pump.
What about the ground anchors and stakes?+
They come out as part of the job. Leaving anchors in a lawn is how people wreck a mower, so we pull them and walk the footprint before we go.
How long does playset removal take?+
Trampolines are often under an hour. Large wooden playsets and above-ground pools run half a day to a full day.
