FURNITURE REMOVAL & DISPOSAL

The sectional that got in but won't get out. The dresser nobody wants. The desk in the spare room that's been a laundry rack for two years. We carry it out of whatever room it's in — you don't touch it.

FROM THE THIRD FLOOR IF THAT'S WHERE IT IS

Furniture is the single most common thing we haul, and almost never the easy version. It's in the back bedroom, up a flight, around a landing, or three inches wider than the doorway it came through eight years ago.

The crew brings sliders, blankets, straps, and tools. If a frame has to come apart to clear a hallway, it comes apart — that's part of the job, not an add-on. Doors come off hinges and go back on before we leave.

When people call us

WHEN THE COUCH HAS TO GO

NEW DELIVERY
The old one has to leave first
Retailers charge to haul away and half the time they won't take it. We'll clear the room the morning before your delivery window.
APARTMENT MOVE-OUT
Too big for the new place
Third-floor walk-ups are routine for us. No stair fee, and the leasing office never has to get involved.
INHERITED FURNITURE
Solid wood, nobody wants it
Heavy antiques are a two-person carry minimum. We take them out intact and try to rehome them before anything else.
PET OR WATER DAMAGE
It can't be donated
Some pieces are past saving. We'll tell you honestly and route them to disposal rather than pretending otherwise.
STAGING A SALE
Clear the room for photos
Realtors call us the week before listing to empty rooms that show badly full.
DORM & FIRST APARTMENT
Particle board's run its course
Cheap furniture doesn't survive a second move. We take the whole set in one trip.
How it works

MEASURED, WRAPPED, CARRIED — NOT DRAGGED

Getting furniture out of a house without marking a wall is a skill. Our crews do it a dozen times a day, and your banister, door casings, and floors come through it fine.

HOW WE PRICE →
01
Send a photo of the piece and the doorway
Those two images answer nearly every question we'd otherwise have to ask on the phone.
02
Walk the path first
Before anything moves, the crew maps the route out and decides what needs to come apart.
03
Protected and carried out
Blankets on corners, sliders under legs, doors off hinges when the math demands it.
04
Reassembled where it needs to go
Donation pieces get put back together at the drop-off so they arrive sellable, not as a pile of parts.
Where it goes

A SCRATCHED DRESSER IS STILL A DRESSER

Furniture has the highest reuse rate of anything we haul. If a piece is structurally sound and clean, it almost never sees a landfill.

Habitat ReStore & local thrifts
Sound wood furniture, dining sets, dressers, and bookcases go straight to resale floors.
Shelters & family services
Beds, couches, and tables go to families setting up a first apartment out of transitional housing.
Wood & metal recovery
Broken frames get broken down further — metal to scrap, clean wood to mulch and reuse.
Furniture Removal questions

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Will you take a sofa out of a third-floor apartment?+
Yes, and there's no stair fee for it. Tell us the floor when you book so we can plan the route and bring the right straps.
Do you disassemble furniture that won't fit through the door?+
Every time, at no extra charge. Sectionals come apart, bed frames come apart, and recliner backs pop off. Whatever the hallway requires.
Can you donate my furniture instead of dumping it?+
That's our default. Anything clean and structurally sound goes to a ReStore, thrift partner, or shelter, and we can get you a donation receipt if you ask.
What about furniture with pet damage or stains?+
We still take it — it just goes to disposal instead of donation. Nobody will refuse the job or lecture you about it.
Do you remove furniture from storage units?+
Regularly. Just make sure we have access and the gate code, and we can meet you there or handle it while you're at work.
How fast can you pick up a couch in DFW?+
Single-piece furniture pickups are the easiest thing to slot into a route. Same-day is common; next-morning is nearly always available.
